Modern Library. New York. 439 pages.1952. Modern Library Edition # 338. FWIW ML did not publish this title until 1963; despite 1952 being last date printed on the copyright page. Because Modern Library did not place a First Modern Library Edition slug on the copyright of Invisible Man you need detective work to narrow down the printing. Because there is an sbn # on rear of DJ, this would be a post-1969 copy. Blue cloth panels stamped in silver. Book is bright and clean inside and out. Book is noticeably tight; seemingly unread. Original DJ is equally as bright and clean. Slight rubbing at heel of DJ spine; otherwise fine in a price-clipped DJ. Book's only flaw is limited to a most faint, barely visible small Random House logo stamped on bottom page edges; truly barely visible. An exceptional copy. Near fine.
