Edizione originale di un vasto studio di epigrafia romana dell'archeologo e giurista Luigi Gaetano Marini (Santarcangelo di Romagna, 1742 ? 1815), che fu coadiutore negli Archivi vaticani. L'opera fu pubblicata ad integrazione dell'analogo saggio di Stefano Antonio Morcelli "De Stilo Inscriptionum Latinarum Libri III", stampato nel 1781 dalla Officina Giunchiana, e analizza ben 311 iscrizioni dei possedimenti della famiglia Albani, sia a Roma che ad Anzio. > Cicognara, 3777.
