Ignored Claims : Gender and Inclusive Development

Gender inequality and discrimination challenges the social economic and environmental sustainability in achieving inclusive development. The absence of a gender-aware perspective in the virtuous development issue is often justified from the premise that development is a male-dominated domain. Many a times, it is assumed that when given control of resources, women are always likely to support policies that give significance to equality, peace and sustainable development and those women have an inherent concern for inclusive development.
