Green cloth stiff card covers. Gilt lettering and line decoration to front board.Lighgt bumping and rubbing to extremities. Previous owner's inked name at top of front free paper. An inked name on the main title page (Messrs Frank Southorn - Glasgow), has been scribbled out and another name inked in, and dated 1930. Southorn was a known architect in GHlasgow in the early part of the 20th Century, having studied at the Glasgow School of Art. Although undated, the catalogue obviously dates to the early 20th Century, with examples of Macfarlane's works featured, being shown in buildings constructed around the time of the First World War. Coupled with the entry of the main title page 'Contractors by Special Appointment to His Majesty's War Department', reinforce this supposition.

Store description
I am a small Independent Bookseller with 35 years experience. My main field of interest is Social Military and Maritime History and Mountaineering although I am always on the lookout for the strange and unusual. I have been a member of Abebooks for many years but due to ill health have not been part of the market place for some time. I do however buy from Abebooks on a regular basis on behalf of Bookpoint in Dunoon. I have always been well known for my accurate descriptions and prompt delivery service. If anyone is looking for Maritime or Scottish History please do not hesitate to contact me.…
