About this Item

Patterned paper on boards with green cloth at spine. Gilt decoration and lettering to spine. Light bumping to extremities with slight 'show-through' at corners of boards. Top of page edges are gilt. Light spotting to outer edge of block. Slight spotting at prelims. Otherwise clean and tidy, and firm, throughout. Delightfully illustrated with three full page. black and white drawings, each signed 'A. D.' at the lower, right corners. A first edition of the scarce collection of short stories, all previously published.
