He was also one of the earliest and most constant contributors to the Oxford English Dictionary, having furnished over 30,000 words to that work.The work was presented to the members by Arthur Cates, the Vice-President. In the original wraps. Externally, generally smart. With edge wear and rubbing to the spine, resulting in losses of cover. Large closed tear to the front hinge, with risk of front cover coming away. With a couple chips to the wrap, as well as marks and slight fading. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with light spotting to the endpapers. Good Only.
