Item description from seller

Quoting from the flap of the dust jacket: "This book, based upon the Osmania University Social Service Project which the author directed in 1951-1952, is of interest both to sociologists ad to the many persons who are concerned with the "little people" of other countries." There are eleven photo illustrations in the book plus a number of diagrams and tables. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket is encased in a mylar sheath which clearly has brought under control any degrading of its quality. Its spine, however, is darkened. The hard covers are generally clean and barely bumped, nothing too severe however. Inside, a former owner has left his neatly inked name in small letters across the top of the title page. There is also a penciled change to the price on the flap of the dust jacket. Those, however, are the only marks I found in the book. The interior pages are clean and bright throughout, without toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
