About the Authors:
The editors are associated with the Center for Maritime Research (MARE), Amsterdam, an interdisciplinary institute for research in the use and management of marine resources, based in Amsterdam.
Henry Minde is professor of history at the University of Tromsų, Norway. He is the author of Becoming Visible: Indigenous Politicsand Self-Government and Indigenous Peoples: Resource Management and Global Rights, the latter also published by Eburon.
