Item description from seller

340, v.3 only of the 3-vol. set, figures, tables, appendix, bibliography, index, some DJ soiling, small tears/chips to DJ. Several larger tears and larger pieces missing to DJ. This study is based on an analysis of the Army and Selective Service records of the men who were rejected for service or had to be prematurely separated from the service during WWII because of inaptitude, personality defects, or psychoneurosis. This volume provides an overview of the entire three-volume work and develops new and deeper levels of analysis for understanding the performance of men in war and peace.
