The seductive thrill of uncharted worlds, of distant galaxies… and the unknown threats that lurk in the vastness of the cosmos. From Foundation to Lensman, Star Wars to Guardians of the Galaxy, space opera continues to exert its magnetic pull on us all. INFINITE STARS This is the definitive collection of original short stories by many of today’s finest authors, writing brand new adventures set in their most famous series. Herein lie canonical tales of the Honorverse, the Lost Fleet, Dune, Vatta’s War, Ender Wiggin, the Legion of the Damned, the Imperium, and more. Also included are past masterpieces by authors whose works defined the genre, including a Miles Vorkosigan adventure, a story from the author of the Dragonriders of Pern, and a rare tale co-authored by the screenwriter for The Empire Strikes Back. Nebula and Hugo Award winners, New York Times bestsellers, and Science Fiction Grand Masters—these authors take us to the farthest regions of space.

Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine

Edition: 1st Edition
Seller: Space Age Books LLC, Conroe, TX, U.S.A.
Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. "First edition: October 2017" and full printing line with "1" on its copyright page, with publisher's original "US $24.95" price on its jacket's front flap. This book's jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is in fine condition: bright, whole, unmarked, and unworn. The book's binding is sound and square, with no spine crease. It has light bumps on its spine ends but is otherwise unworn, with bright gilt titles on its spine. However, I have priced it as only in "good" condition because of a minor cosmetic flaw: it was briefly splashed by a little rain water and was quickly dried off, but was left with scattered faint dampstains on the edges of its covers, pastedowns, and endpapers. (My loss, your gain.) I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.
