Books are subject to prior sale.
Libraries, institutions, and accredited dealers in the United States can be sent books with invoice.

All books noted as First Editions are also First Printings unless indicated otherwise. Books are returnable for any reason within 30 days of the estimated delivery date provided they are returned in the same condition they were sent. Illinois residents please add 7.00% sales tax.

Shipping Terms

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 3 LB, or 1.4 KG. However, larger or heavier books or multi-volume sets will require additional postage. We will contact you if additional postage is required.
We ship all books in sturdy boxes or in stiff cardboard mailers.
International customers: We are now using UPS for most international shipments. Please let us know if you can not take UPS at your location

for UK addresses:
abebooks collects VAT for all orders with a customs value below �135. For orders above �135, you will be responsible for any tax or customs charges. If you have a VAT number, please email us the number so that we can add it to your shipping paperwork.
