First edition. Hardcover. Thick small quarto size. Bookseller's label on the front fixed endpaper, otherwise fine in very good dustjacket with a few small professionally closed tears and a fingernail-size restored chip. A handsome copy of a 'doorstop' of a book (over 1000 pages), a bible for Australian entomologists, profusely illustrated with b/w drawings and photographs, and colour photographs/plates. Uncommon in this condition, since a number of copies have been in and out of lending institutions. Postage in Australia will be set at $15. Not suitable for overseas purchase.
