"Edited by Jack Lindsay for the greater Glory of Apollo in the second year of the Fanfrolico Press." Binding is tight, sturdy and square; light damp-stain on bottom edge of rear board and along spine, only faintly visible on rear paste-down, doesn't otherwise affect interior; bottom edge of front board evenly toned, else only very mild shelfwear to edges of blue cloth boards, gilt titling and publisher's device remain bright and bold; text, illustrations very good throughout; bookseller's ticket (The Book Harbor, San Francisco) fixed to rear paste-down. Unclipped dust jacket shares damp-stained areas with book, mostly visible along the spine with a couple smaller spots on rear panel; else mild toning and shelfwear to edges, a few small chips and closed tears at spine ends and corners; jacket arrives wrapped in protective mylar. An anthology of Western writing from the classical era through the 19th century, compiled ".to illuminate the psychology of the creative act, both in the formal and material aspects.
