George Baillie and Co'. This regards the conduct of Mrs. Colina Baillie, the widow of George's cousin, James Baillie. Colina pursued George for the £3,500 per annum due to her by her husband's will, though she was not legally entitled to the salary until the debts were paid. Rebound in a modern cloth binding. Externally, fine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with the occasional scattered spot and handling mark. Prior owner's ink inscription to the title page of 'Further Particulars'. Near Fine.
