The blue/green boards have the title in black with a picture in a circle of children reading; the spine black cloth with the title in gilt. The corners are bumped and there is shelf wear to the corners and some edges; the covers have some age browning to them. The endpapers are aged, with two peoples names and addresses; also there is a book stores stamp from N.H,; the back endpapers have a number of children's names on them. The interior although a little bit aged is very clean .
