At that time Dybek had published two books of short stories, THE COAST OF CHICAGO and CHILDHOOD AND OTHER NEIGHBORHOODS, as well as BRASS KNUCKLES, a book of poems. Since then he was written STREETS IN THEIR OWN INK and I SAILED WITH MAGELLAN.
