Pp. ix, 61. Illustrated with two folding plates in rear. Book plate of Chris Nicholson County Meath pasted to front pastedown. Full calf. Title gilt on red.mo.label on spine. Spine also has gilt decoration. Covers have ornate design along right along all margins. Extremeties lightly scuffed and rubbed in a few places. Occasional light internal foxing. Else very good. The rare first edition of a scarce book. Sylvestre Fran�ois Lacroix (28 April 1765, Paris - 24 May 1843, Paris) was a French mathematician.
