About this Item

Light blue cloth on boards with gilt titling on spine. Book is tight and square despite size (583pp), sharp-cornered and totally free of markings or flaws inside and out. Fine or better. Unclipped Dust Jacket with striking design of horizontal white lines and white titling on dark blue/purple background. One small hole on spine and chip at bottom of spine, otherwise very little scuffing or shelfwear. Scarce in this condition with the original DJ. Note card from Publisher to former owner "this book is sent to you with the compliments of the College Department of Alfred Knopf. 1st Ed./1st Printing.
