Volumes 1 to 4 of 8. Vol I: Transactions which brought on the war. 1st edition. 1863. Vol II: Invasion of the Crimea. 3rd edition. 1863.-Vol III: Siege of Sebastopol. 1st edition 1868. Vol IV: Battle of Balaclava. 1st Edition 1868. Used - Very Good. Half-calf leather binding, boards in green cloth, 5 false bands, gilt title and decoration to spine, marbled end boards and all edges marbled. Leather spine and corners mildly rubbed and worn. Very mild damp stains to back cover of vol I and front and back covers of vol III. Foxing on the front and end papers of each volume and scattering of foxing and staining through other pages, pencil notes on front end paper of vol 1 otherwise pages clean and bright with all. Original black and white and colour plates (some fold outs) through 4 volumes. This is a heavy item so may incur higher postage rates. Further details and images are available on request.
