The pages of the report are somewhat soiled and worn, but it is a good working copy of a scarce report. A massive report, weighing 4.5 lbs- we cannot ship it internationally. ; Prepared for the US Department of Interior's Bureau of Land Management Alaska office, this was a critical investigation in the population of Bowhead Whales in the Beaufort Sea Lease Area. An integral part of the study was to examine the relationships between the animals and their habitat and the effects of the environment of the area on whale migrations. A comprehensive, detailed report in this ground-breaking investigation. The report has 218 figures consisiting of black and white photos and microscope slide samples along with tables, charts and graphs. Includes an appendix and folded map (34" x 30") of distribution and movements of Bowhead whales in rear pocket.
