A very scarce first edition of this collection of short stories from British author James Blyth. First edition. Very scarce. A collection of short stories, including: The Irrevocable, The Craven, The Legend of The Lake, The Poor Man's Potato, and A Comedy in Feathers. Written by James Blyth, a prolific British author recognised for his contributions to science fiction in the future war genre. In the original red cloth binding. Externally, sound with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Light loss to the head and tail of the spine with splits in the cloth to the joints. Hinges starting but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound with front free endpaper detached but present. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Light spotting to the first and last few pages. A tear to the title page affecting the title. Light age toning to the endpapers. Previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown. Good. Seller Inventory # 904T66
