The Island Race [First Edition, Second State]

A fine copy in a very good dust jacket, of the first edition, second state. The second state corrected the order of the two columns of text on page 75 (Cohen A275.1.b). The two-tone green binding is clean and unworn, with immaculate gilt lettering to the spine. Everything is square and tight, with sharp unbumped edges and corners. Inside there are no ownership inscriptions or other markings of any kind. The dust jacket is unclipped (£6. 6s.), and is largely intact, while showing some edgewear and small losses, mostly to the top face edge. It is now protected in a removable mylar cover. This lovely coffee-table volume is extremely heavy and will almost certainly require additional postage for anything other than standard domestic shipping.
