Complete in two (2) volumes, uniformly bound in ivory 1/4 buckram, tan buckram, spine panels lettered in orange, deckled text block edges with top edge in gilt. Mere hints of wear, with a slight 1" reddish blemish to lower back cover of Vol. I, otherwise essentially as issued. xii,296 + xiii,310 pp., 48 b&w plates w/ captioned tissue guards over both volumes. Unclear whether a second printing or second edition, with 1900 and 1902 copyrights, main title dated 1902. A lovely, virtually unimprovable set. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
