JACK THE RIPPER The Simple Truth

Paperback. Foreword by Colin Wilson. 'After twelve years of research, true crime expert and former private detective Bruce Paley has finally uncovered the real face behind the chilling murders of Jack the Ripper.(The author) re-examines the evidence from a modern perspective, unearthing a wealth of new information, and creating a vivid picture of contemporary life in Whitechapel.Paley shows how his suspect: was skilled with knives and knowledgeable about anatomy; was a familiar local figure, who had lived near all the victims and murder sites; changed his story regarding his relationship with the last victim, his lover; fits contemporary eyewitness descriptions exactly; had an avowed hatred of prostitutes; matches precisely the model of the archetypal serial killer, as formulated by the FBI's top psychological criminal profilers.'
