XV/170pp with Foreword, John Gielgud's Hamlet by Rosamond Gilder; Hamlet in Performance, Scene by scene description of Giegud's Hamlet; The Hamlet tradition; some notes on costume, scenery and stage business by John Gielgud. 8 B/W photos of Hamlet, five of Giegud and two of Jo Mielziners's costume designs.
