The etchings and phototypes have been printed by Franz Hanfstaengl and J B Obernetter. SIGNED "Wm B Osgood Field" (the compiler). The 313 untrimmed pages end with a list of the 303 illustrations within. Excellent bright clean interior being unmarked throughout. No inscriptions but for a small stylish gift inscription dated 1931 on a front blank endpaper. Tight binding. Linen spine bearing the title on a paper label which has a little wear. The paper covered boards have minor discolouration and wear.
