One of the most distinctive voices in British contemporary photography, John Riddy’s practice exists in a singular relationship to a particular photographic inheritance. His photographs are meditations on the individuality and poetry of certain places. His subject matter is broad : ranging from the unassuming domestic interior to images of Renaissance or Modernist architecture and the specific qualities of certain city spaces. Time, atmosphere, spatial illusion and cultural histories are compressed and extended in pictures that aim to defeat our expectations of photographic descriptions. - Published by Frith Street Gallery and Paul Andriesse, 2004. Terms of sale
Books are offered if unsold. We try to describe the state of the books precisely. Minor defects such as a
name on first page, ex libris stamp, minimal wear or annotations are not always mentioned.
Orders can be done via email (info@thelandofnod.be) or in writing, not by telephone.
If you wish to pick up a book please send us an email. Prices are net, in EURO and free of VAT (margin
arrangement). Packaging and shipping are at customers charge. The customer will always be informed by
email about charges, total amount to pay and payment method.

Books must be paid in advance. Ordered books remain our property until payment has been received.
Shipment is at our risk.
All books can be reshipped by the customer to us within 14 days after receipt, without specified reason. We
will then pay back the price of the books, not shipping costs.
If the ordered books do not match the specified description, they may be reshipped within seven days
after receipt, after prior notice. In this case we pay back the price of the books and shipping costs. The
risk by reshipment of books are for the sender. Reshipped books must reach us in the state they were
sent to the customer.
