Inscribed by the author on half-title to Edward Weeks: "For Edward Weeks, / who helped feed Tapiola's biographer / [signed] Robert Nathan" Edward Weeks (1912-1989) was for many years editor of The Atlantic. As a contributor to the Atlantic Monthly, Nathan's inscription likely refers to compensation received from the magazine. Dust jacket is now housed in a clear, removable archival protector.
