Cream boards with red lettering to fr. and sp. 3 red ills. and double border-lines to fr., spine brwned, 2 small black marks and edges lightly tanned but unworn bar sl. sp. end bumping. f/piece with tissue guard +28 + 36, 7 further plates ex-pagination, the main verse text of 36 pp.has Housman's head & tail pieces on every page and is calligraphically set, t.p. has 'With forty-four designs invented, drawn, and written by Lawrence Housman' so presumably he designed this font; outer sides of end-papers tanned, otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. This was limited to 1,000 copies of which 250 were for American market, with 100 de luxe copies, of which this is not one (see note verso t.p.). Scarce in this good a condition, 13 cm x 19.5 cm.
