Written by the instructors and creators of the JNTCP-ER Certification Exams, JUNOS Enterprise Routing is the only comprehensive book for Juniper enterprise and edge routing environments. It offers complete coverage of all the services available to the JUNOS administrator, including JUNOS Enhanced Services (ES).
This book is the official study guide for all three Juniper Enterprise Routing certification exams, and is highly recommended reading to pass the exams. With its field-guide emphasis on practical solutions, you can easily take the book beyond the classroom and into working networks as a design, maintenance, and troubleshooting reference par excellence.
JUNOS Enterprise Routing covers all three certification exams in this track:
- Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA-ER)
- Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS-ER)
- Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE-ER)
With more services such as voice, conference, and multicast on the IP router platform, the market for enterprise routers is growing exponentially, and the need for certified engineers to keep up with network developments in protocols and security is paramount. For everyone who works with Juniper enterprise and edge routing environments, this is a must-have book.

About the Author
Doug Marschke is an engineering graduate from the University of Michigan currently working with various consulting firms, including Strategic Networks Training and Cubes Networks. He is JNCIE-ER #3-, JNCIE-M #41-, and JNCIS-FW-certified. He was heavily involved in the Juniper certification exams from the start, having contributed to test writing, and he is a coauthor of the current JNCIE Enterprise Exam. Doug currently spends his time working with both service providers and enterprises to optimize their IP networks for better performance, cost, and reliability. He also flies around the world sharing his knowledge in a variety of training classes and seminars with topics ranging from troubleshooting to design and certification preparation. If Doug is not on the road, you can find him at his bar in San Francisco, Underdogs Sports Bar, discussing a wide variety of topics.
Harry Reynolds has more than 25 years of experience in the networking industry, and for the past 15 years has focused on LANs and LAN interconnection. He is CCIE #4977- and JNCIE #3-certified, and holds various other industry and teaching certifications. Harry was a contributing author on the Juniper Networks Complete Reference (McGraw-Hill), and he wrote the JNCIE and the JNCIP Juniper Networks Certification Study Guides for Sybex Books. Prior to joining Juniper, Harry served time in the U.S. Navy as an avionics technician, worked for equipment manufacturer Micom Systems, and spent much time developing and presenting hands-on technical training curricula targeted to both enterprise and service provider needs. Harry has presented classes for organizations such as American Institute, American Research Group, Hill Associates, and Data Training Resources. He is currently employed by Juniper Networks, where he functions as a senior test engineer in the JUNOS software Core protocols group. Harry also functioned at Juniper as a consulting engineer on an aerospace routing contract, and as a senior education services engineer working on courseware and certification offerings.
