Besides essays from Gleason, it contains works from Leadbelly, Jelly Roll Morton, Dave Brubeck, Bunk Johnson, and others. 8vo, 317pp. Inscribed by Gleason to the former owners and dated in the year of publication on the ffep. Publisher's red cloth boards, spine lettered in black in colorful jacket. Light wear to board edges else a near fine copy in very good jacket with some wear and color touch-up along the top edge by the previous owner.
