This beautiful book lays out the life of the legendary Hoosier poet, in text, and with either early photographs or drawings on every other page. The text pages are gloriously decorated around the borders. The book inside and out is in near fine condition, even for a new book, let alone one that is 115 years old. The front board is embellished with a sketch of Riley, above a color pastoral scene and with "Old-English" style gilt lettering. Photos upon request.
