This is the 1903 first edition, NOT a modern reprint. The book is still in its original box. No wear to the paper-covered boards with color pastedown and portrait of Riley on the front cover. No slope, no twist from reading or improper shelving. No bumped corners. No broken hinges. Pages tight and clean but showing a little foxing mostly to the early leaves. No name of previous owner. No musty odor. No tobacco odor. No water stains. No soiling. No sun fading. The matching box did a good job of protecting the book but shows light wear with faint water stains.
