36 pages with 17 full page colour illustrations and other line drawings by the author and illustrator Hilda Boswell. Paste-down plate on top board, paper boards, some spotting to cover and some discolouration to back board with spotting/dust, contents lovely, colour illustrated title page. Small child's book on the year of the fairy and fairy folk. about the same size as a "Ladybird series" book. The writer illustrated many books in the 1940's-50's inc works Enid Blyton, etc. Seller Inventory # 4475

We are a small, single-owner business. We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
