About the Author
George Fetherling is a writer, editor, teacher, publisher, scholar, and visual artist. He is the author or editor of over 50 books ranging from poetry and fiction to biographies, cinema history, Asian Pacific studies, and histories of the gold rushes and the rise of newspapers in Canada. Mr. Fetherling is a former literary editor of the Kingston Whig-Standard and the Ottawa Citizen and was awarded the Harbourfront Festival Prize in 1995 for his “substantial contribution to Canadian letters.” He currently holds the post of books-and-ideas columnist at the Vancouver Sun.

Prices are in US dollars. Books are offered by mail; also our bookroom is open
by appointment - please call ahead. Payment options include
email-transfer (within Canada only), or credit card options available through Abebooks.
For customers in Canada, the HST/GST is included in the price. For customers in the US, there are** no tariffs** on books.
Books are returnable for full refund if done so within 10 days of receipt.

Book condition is based on the following guidelines: Fine - a copy with only a
very minor flaw and may actually be new and unread; Near Fine - a copy with a
more significant flaw or several minor flaws and/or with an overall feel and
appearance of a lightly used book; Very Good - a more worn copy but still in
collectible condition. Book plates, remainder marks, previous owner names,
price-clipped dust jackets and store stamps are always mentioned.

Shipping terms
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. All books are shipped well protected.
Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB (1 KG) or under. If your book order is
heavy or over-sized, we may contact you about extra shipping charges being
required. Tracking is included for customers in Canada and the USA. International tracking is expensive but may be required as an additional cost to some destinations.
A note to European Union customers, although AbeBooks collects the required VAT for your country, there may be additional duties applied to your order when it arrives imposed by your country's Customs Department.
