Spine of DJ�??s are sun-darkened but front panels are unaffected. Dust jackets are a bright yellow background with black lllustrations of a ship at sea. Dust jacket art is a woodcut from �??Iron Men and Wooden Ships�? . Previous owner address label at top of inside front cover - all pages are bright, clean and crisp with deckled edges. Great biography that springs from hundreds of Conrad's letters, most of which were written to his friends and contemporaries. A very handsome First Edition set. LOC SSS-23.
