First UK edition. Originally published in the US by E.P. Dutton in 1952. Boards have very slight surface discolouration but are otherwise clean and unmarked. Page edges are browned with a few scattered spots to the fore edges. Original owner's book plate to the front pastedown. Faint bookseller stamp at the bottom of the front free endpaper. There are one inch tapemarks at the top and bottom of the front and rear free endpapers and the endpapers are slightly browned with a few scattered spots. The pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. The price-clipped jacket has chipping at the corners and at the top and bottom of the spine. It has been repaired with a four inch long piece of tape along the top edge. There is browning to the spine and the rear panel and along several of the edges. Jacket design by Peter Curl. First printing. Seller Inventory # 018757

European Orders: Shipping costs are based on books weighing 800g. For European orders I have only quoted a price for air mail. Not all European countries have been added so your shipping may appear high. Please note that I will adjust the charge I make if this is the case and postage to Europe will be lower than the rest of the world. Other overseas orders: shipping costs are based on books weighing 800g. I will generally use whatever method is covered by the standard postage charge but if you specifically wish to have it sent surface or airmail or anything else please ask and I will amend the charge accordingly.
