First impressions in publisher's original blue cloth, pictorial gilt to spines and covers, gilt lettered spine, all edges gilt, and with dark green endpapers. Jungle Book with tissue guarded frontispiece by W. H. Drake and numerous illustrations by J. L. Kipling, W.H. Drake and Frenzeny. The Second Jungle Book with numerous illustrations by J. Lockwood Kipling and a page of ads at rear. London: Macmillan and Co. (1894 and 1895), 212 and 238 pages. The Jungle Book in Good condition; slightly cocked with repaired spine, dampstain ring on cover, and wear to extremities. The Second Jungle Book is Nearly Fine with some shelf wear and modest sunning to spine.
