© 1932: A stand-alone novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs. 1st UK edition, 1st printing. Originally serialised in 5 parts in The Blue Book Magazine 1931:- Synopsis: Here the author of the famous Tarzan stories recounts a new, long, exciting tale of what befell Gordon King in the Cambodian forest where lie hidden the mysterious cities of Lodidhapura and Pnom Dhek. It was here that the young explorer saved the life of Vay Thon, High Priest of Siva, and here that Fou-tan, the Princess, dancing girl of the Leper King, was joined to the man she loved. Mr Burroughs' new novel breathes the very essence of the mysterious East - not the fetid, over-perfumed atmosphere of oriental cities as we know them, but the breathless fragrance of a dream city encompassed by the jungle and haunted by the sinister presence of my Lord the Tiger:- (original cost 4'6).

Terms of sale
All books offered for sale are complete and sound (any missing / loose pages or cracked / broken spines will be mentioned in the book description). Our book-seller images are of, not just the listed edition / print, but also of the actual book you will be buying (the cover collages are made from 3 individual scans of each book that are then displayed as a wrap-around image - the books themselves are NOT damaged in any way by this process). Book sizes, where given, are to the nearest ¼". Each book has then been graded according to its condition, taking into account the degree of creasing to the covers and/or spine, presence of scuff marks or tears, any pen marks or inscriptions & any page tanning. We try to be as fair & accurate as possible with the grading of our books, but if you are unhappy with any classification of condition please let us know as soon as possible. If, for any reason at all, you are unhappy with your purchase, we offer a no quibble, money back guarantee within 30 days of purchase. We also welcome any feedback or comments that you may have as we are always trying to maintain our high levels of customer service.
