This is one of the most difficult Barbour baseball titles to find. Has red boards, with an embossed cover of the catcher waiting for a throw. The spine is loose, the rear cover is held on by tape. but this is a true first edition with the (1) on the bottom of page 310. Two of the illustrations are missing-the frontispiece and the one of page 54; but there is one very nice illustration of a baseball scene. The book is in fair condition, an affordable way to own this seldom seen title. I have more than 20 Barbour books and more than 265 juvenile baseball fiction books in stock.
