Originally, his books were issued in 1922 in Okinawa and his techniques shrouded in secrecy. The martial art had its origins in the Shao-lin Temple in Hunan Province China more than a thousand years ago. The earliest teachers in the Far East did not offer training to those in the West. A near fine copy bound in blue cloth centrally stamped in silver depicting a lion, spine lettering silver, small stain to upper board near fine in a fine pictorial dust jacket.
