The author recreates the events of that long weekend in a dramatic day-by-day narrative. This book deals with far more than Kent State. Michener explores the reasons behind the attack of university students in America and throughout the world. He discusses the clashing lifestyles of young people and their parents and suggests ways of improving communication between generations and more. A very good copy bound in blue cloth lettered and ruled in black, spine lettered in silver, endpapers are maps, in an unclipped dust jacket lettered in white, red and yellow and repeated on the spine, some chipping to corners and spine ends, a few tiny, closed edge tears.
