Los Angeles: Balcony Press, 2002. 1st edition, F/. Paperback has very little wear. 61 b & w photos (never before published), 13 floor plans. Chronological listing of selected projects, bibliography. His goal was to bring "high-quality modern design within reach of the everyday home-buying public". After a quick burst of creativity, he was convicted of fraud and shady practices and spent a number of years in prison. After WWII, he was back and determined "to create noteworthy modern houses for retuning soldiers' young families." He the fell afoul of the law again and faded from the scene. Fascinating story, nice cope, 103 pp. CF7.
