Kids' Allowances - How Much, How Often & How Come, A Guide for Parents (includes Allowance Workbook)

This practical two-book set is all parents need to come up with the best possible Allowance system for their children. It is both convenient and easy-to-follow.

This system uses an Allowance to teach kids to manage their money responsibly. It is also used as a tool to encourage saving, sharing and appropriate gift-giving. This may sound like a lot for one author to provide, but Kids' Allowances - How Much, How Often & How Come, A Guide for Parents includes tips and experiences from thousands of parents, leading experts and Kids' Money editor, David McCurrach.

The second book - The Allowance Workbook for Kids and Their Parents - puts the system presented in Kids' Allowances into action. The Workbook is a joint effort between parent and child to customize the Allowance program to their child's need and the parents' own personal values. Investing in this set assures parents and kids alike will get the most from their Allowance dollars.

David McCurrach began Kids' Money (kidsmoney.org) in 1995 as an early Internet-based financial education resource for parents, teachers and kids. Today, this widely-acclaimed site provides an unparalleled amount of information on teaching kids about money, money management and financial responsibility.

Appropriately, the first four years have focused on Allowances - the basic building block of a financial education. Tens of thousands of parents have contributed their thoughts and experiences. Leading experts have weighed in with their views. This body of knowledge forms the basis for the information provided in Kids' Allowances - How Much, How Often & How Come, A Guide for Parents as well as in The Allowance Workbook for Kids and Their Parents.
