The study by Kenneth Nicholls "The Gaelic Lords in the Seventh to the Seventeenth Centuries" has dealt with topic central to the early history. Further articles deal with the earliest archaeological discoveries, the story of Killarney's Famine; the folklore, Ross Castle, the architectural development of Killarney. While this is a favorite destination by many tourists, much of this should be read before so that none of the richness of the experience of Killarney is lost. A unique copy bound in half leather over green cloth covered boards lettered in gilt, raised bands, double brown leather labels gilt, other compartments decorated in blind.
