Also included in this copy is a cut-out from a playbill of the play, a cut-out portrait of the author with his facsimile signature, and a cut-out of actor E.H. Sothern (who played "Francois Villon" in the play). Condition: Clean front cover and spine; light soiling to the back cover. Sharp cover corners. Tight binding with no cracks. The illustrated plate after page 260 is present but detached. Pages 259-262 have foxing. Page 187 has a pair of quotation marks " " written in pencil.no other writing found. A picture of the author and a cut-out of his signature (facsimile) have been affixed to the front end paper. The facing pastedown has a cut-out from the playbill affixed. A cut-out of one of the actors in the play (E.H. Sothern) has been affixed to a following front end paper. There is the embossed name stamp of "Clarence H. Wickham" of CT on page 50. Overall the book is in Good condition.
