1940. First Edition. 272 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth boards with lettering. Contains black and white photographic plates. Pages and illustrations have mild tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pencil markings to front pastedown. Moderate water staining to back pastedown and free endpaper. Pen annotations and marginalia to a few pages. Binding remains firm. Slight brown markings to rear endpaper. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Lettering is darkened.
