A Daily Express knitting pattern from 1956, with instructions on how to create this loveable bear. A very scarce knitting pattern, unbound. A 1956 knitting pattern for the beloved British children's comic strip character Rupert Bear, created and published by the Daily Express. It includes detailed instructions for knitting Rupert, and pictorial sewing patterns for creating his scarf, trousers and boots. Unbound. Externally and internally, age toned but fairly smart. Small closed tears and faint tidemarks to the extremities. Loss to the lower extremity of the front page. A little creasing to each page. Good.
