Light spine slant, edge wear and light loosening of one inner hinge (not affecting binding integrity). This copy is from a 19th Century private lending institution, the Mercantile Library of New York City. The Mercantile Library stamp and a number are on the title page and some of the internal pages. There are no other indications of the library's ownership.
