An attempt to reflect significant aspects of the cultural life of Kuwait five years after the Gulf War. Large format. Blue cloth boards, gilt titles. Colour & b/w photos. A few minor marks to boards. Text block lightly browned. Some light foxing present. Pictorial dustwrapper is heavily faded to front panel and spine, is grubby and scuffed, laminate covering is creased on rear panel. The museums and historic sites were looted at the start of the war by Iraqui forces, and this work tells of the rebuilding. Dust jacket is bright, crisp and clean - no flaws. Blue board exterior with title in gold on front cover and spine. Interior is unmarked, tight and clean. Book is large and heavy - mailing other than standard domestic will require extra charges.
